Black Tuna

A strain that’s native to the True North Strong and Free, Black Tuna is a hybrid strain that’s hard to source outside of Canada. A blend between the strains Lamb’s Bread and Herojuana, there’s nothing fishy about Black Tuna that’ll turn you away from wanting to try it!

This bud’s light coloured foliage and rust coloured pistils make it almost as enticing as its effects. Known for its almost narcotic-like high, this strain will leave you relaxed and in a state of couch-lock like you’ve never experienced before.

With an average THC content between 17%-20%, this strain might not appear to offer much but with Black Tuna, there’s definitely more than meets the eye. Even with its minimal THC content, it’s advised that beginner tokers steer clear of this strain and head for calmer waters. The rumour goes that this strain was named after the notorious “Black Tuna Gang,” a well-known group of cannabis smugglers that helped import copious amounts of weed to America from Colombia. While we’re not sure how true this urban myth turned legend is, one thing is for certain – this strain’s powerful effects are not to be trifled with.
