Grapefruit Strain

The Grapefruit strain is the cross between to very notable sativa dominant strains. Combining BC Grapefruit and Nectar’s grapefruit, we get a very powerful, euphoric strain. An energy inducing strain, it really plays on it’s parents sativa traits. This uplifting strain is known to captivate it’s audience with giggles and an overall feeling of happiness and bliss. While the parent strains have a similar genetics, their traits vary. Nectar strains are known to be great for reflecting and taking time to visualize internally, while BC  a very social strain that loves to bring out the most talkative sides of ourselves.

Great for medicating during the day time, this strain is known for taking care of stress an anxiety and low to moderate doses. The mental effects are often used for fighting depress and bouts of insomnia. You may also feel relief of minor pain due to it’s light, sedative effects. It’s not recommended for use with chronic pain, as a strong indica would be the best suggestion to deal with those issues.

This stains THC range varies from 15-20%, while most report it being closer to the latter with it’s unmistakable euphoric high. Typically this strain flowers for 55-60 days.

BC Grapefruit comes from a clone of unknown genetics. It gained some popularity in the 80s but was clone only. Other breeders have created seeds by back-crossing the strain. True BC Grapefruit has since become very scarce. The strains derived from BC Grapefruit carry a THC range of 15% -20% and grow well both outside and indoors. They flower for 55 to 60 days.
